Ukrainian Gamers Using Drones and Aerial Technology to Fight the Russians

During the war in Afghanistan, the use of drones and aerial technologies became very commonplace as a war-fighting tactic by the United States.  At the time, this was considered only something that a super power could use in its arsenal to combat enemies from the air.

According to this BBC article, a new era of drone warfare has already arrived involving many more players – with many smaller nations being able leverage these kinds of innovations.

This is the case with the war in the Ukraine, where Ukrainian soldiers, who are also gamers, are using drones and aerial technologies to fight Russian war fighters. As highlighted in the CNN clip below, it has been very effective for helping the Ukraine to defend itself during the Russian invasion.
