ACT-IAC is widely recognized as a hub where government and industry leaders come together to exchange ideas and accelerate innovation in the public sector. Beyond its role as a trusted convener, the organization invests heavily in leadership development to prepare the next generation of changemakers who will guide the future of federal IT.
One of its most respected initiatives is the Voyagers Program, which equips rising leaders with the skills and relationships needed to drive mission success. Each year, the program carefully selects a diverse group of participants from both government and industry, pairing them in a one-to-one ratio that fosters collaboration, mentorship, and long-term connections.
This year, competition for the 2026 Voyagers Class was especially fierce, with government budget cuts limiting opportunities and making the selection process even more competitive.
This is why Makpar is proud to announce that Fareeha Khan, Director of Marketing and Communications at Makpar, has been named to the ACT-IAC Voyagers 2026 Class. This achievement follows the recognition of her brother, Kaamil Khan, President of Makpar, who was selected for the 2025 Class.
“It is an honor to be selected for the ACT-IAC Voyagers Program, especially during such a competitive year,” said Khan. “I am looking forward to collaborating with my peers across government and industry, learning from their perspectives, and further strengthening my leadership skills to help support both Makpar’s mission and the broader federal IT community.”
Fareeha has played a central role in shaping Makpar’s marketing and communications strategy. She has elevated the company’s brand presence, expanded its thought leadership, and built a consistent program that highlights Makpar’s technical expertise and people-first culture.
ACT-IAC’s Voyager curriculum is grounded in the Office of Personnel Management’s (OPM) Executive Core Qualifications, a framework that builds the skills to deliver results, strengthen customer service, and foster effective coalitions across government and industry.
